The Institute was established in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-5781 dated August 13, 2019, based on the State Unitary Enterprise "Training and Consulting Center for Tourism" of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development.

The founder of the Institute is the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan or the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The Institute is a research and educational organization in the form of a state institution.

The Institute employs 30 specialists.
